Lullabies are a form of tier 1, light-based sleep. They cast quickly and cannot be interrupted by damage because they are songs. This makes them very reliable in pretty much every situation that you want to sleep monsters. The trade-off is for duration (shorter than other forms of sleep), which means you have to sleep the monsters more often. This can be somewhat countered with Lullaby enhancing gear, which extends duration by 10% of the base duration per +1 Lullaby. The two tiers of Lullaby have different durations, so this works out as shown in the table below.

These songs can be enhanced through Bard Group 1 merits, for a maximum of -5 seconds of recast.
