Overview
Divine Magic is the smallest general category of spells and focuses on damaging and debilitating enemies with light elemental white magic spells. Because of this, Divine Magic spells are particularly effective against monsters of the Undead family. Banish Spells in particular have enhanced properties when used against Undead type monsters.
Divine Magic skill determines the potency, accuracy, and spell interruption rate of Divine Magic spells.
Divine Magic is primarily employed by White Mages and Paladins. Red Mages and Scholars have divine magic skill, but do not natively learn any divine magic spells and can only access them with WHM or PLD sub jobs.
