Notes
- Flashy Shot has more significant effect as the target monster has higher level
- Flashy Shot only affects the first hit of Barrage.
- Eagle Eye Shot counts as a ranged attack for the purposes of this Job Ability.
Mechanics
- The way Flashy Shot affects damage is by eliminating the pDIF penalty incurred by ranged attacks on higher level monsters. This penalty was introduced during the "RNG Nerf" and is largely responsible for the reduced damage after the patch.
- Since Flashy Shot only improves damage on higher level monsters, it is ineffective in some situations at Level 75, where monster levels are not necessarily higher than the players' levels (for instance, many Limbus areas).
