Notes

• Spawn conditions for this monster are unusual. While clearing the room containing the ???, a player may receive a message in their chat log stating "Player name is enveloped in sheer animosity!" after defeating a monster. At this point, the player that receives this message can click the ??? to spawn the Ix'aern.
• When clicking the ??? when no one has animosity, the message reads "You sense an unknown presence."
• When clicking the ??? when a player has animosity, the message reads "You sense an unknown presence. It does not seem hostile."
• Unlike other Aerns, can reraise more than once.
• Will use Blood Weapon once per reraise.
• Is assisted by two Ranger Qn'aerns.
• Ix'Aern is also immune to Sleep, Stun and Gravity.
• Either the Deed of Moderation or the Vice of Avarice can drop, but not both.
• An item drop is guaranteed. If no item drops when Ix'Aern's HP drops to 0, it will reraise.

  • If two High-Quality Aern Organs are traded to the ???, Ix'aern will be assisted by a Qn'aern of either Red Mage or White Mage job.
  • If three High-Quality Aern Organs are traded to the ???, Ix'aern will be assisted by two Qn'aerns, one Red Mage and one White Mage.
• Ix'Aern and the Qn'aerns link with other Aerns present in the room.
• Either the Deed of Placidity or the Vice of Antipathy can drop, but not both.
• Drop rate is 100% if three High-Quality Aern Organs are used, below 100% if one or two High-Quality Aern Organs are used.
• Sideswipe resets hate on the target if it connects.
