General Notes
  • Exploitable Weakness: Damage multipliers increase when Kurma takes damage or utilizes certain TP moves.
    • The magic damage multiplier for magic damage dealt to Kurma will continuously increase each time magic damage is dealt (up to 800% or more).
      • Kurma has extremely high magic evasion, but will take much higher than normal damage even on partial resists if the multiplier is sufficiently boosted. Continuously dealing magic damage with low tier Thunder and Aero spells can significantly speed up the battle. Thunder- and Wind-based magic are the least resisted and Magic Accuracy boosting effects are recommended to ensure spells land for full damage.
    • Aqua Breath seems to raise the slashing damage multiplier.
    • Earth Breath seems to raise the piercing damage multiplier.
    • Harden Shell seems to raise the magic damage multiplier. The Defense Boost effect is dispellable but requires extremely high magic accuracy (including player buffs and magic evasion reducing effects on Kurma) to land reliably.
    • Any accumulated damage multipliers will reset whenever Tortoise Song is used.
